Metadata should always accompany data. The SOCAT metadata requirements are detailed in the SOCAT cookbook (2024). Please, use this guidance for providing metadata information.
New – This year, the use of the Metadata Editor is mandatory. This will ultimately improve the quality of metadata. Please use the Metadata Editor for your submissions. A tutorial is available in the Tutorial section of this website. Please don’t hesitate contacting us for any question or remark regarding its use.
